Is it time for a slight change or continuation of your character's journey in their life back home than what you initially stated in their application? Then you have found the correct entry! Previous Canon Point: Post "Mark of Athena"
New Canon Point: Pre mist-memories/pre "The Lost Hero"
Significant changes due to new canon point: Piper's going back quite a bit in time- not a staggering amount in terms of YEARS, but around 8 months or more- give or take. I'm asking to take her back to the point in time before her memories were altered by Hera and the mist, meaning that she'll have no recollection of Jason Grace (her boyfriend), Annabeth Chase (the first demigoddess she met), Percy, Frank, Hazel, Drew, Nico, or any of the others. She'll have no recollection of being a demigoddess, meeting her mother, or any of her experiences throughout the course of the books to date. The only thing from the books that she'll remember is Leo, since they were friends for about three months before being given mist-altered memories. By downgrading Piper will be returning while dealing with the rocky nature of her relationship with her father, which won't be all that different from canon except for the fact that she won't know why he's shut her out as he has or that he's making the effort to protect her. She'll have bottled up frustrations over that in addition to her anger at his assistant, Jane. She also won't remember her mother, so won't have learned the life lessons about love and how powerful a force it is, how beauty is all about finding the right fit, or that life is richer when shared with friends doing good deeds.
Her powers wouldn't change, but Piper will no longer be aware of them, if approved, meaning that she might accidentally charmspeak people from time to time (I'll follow the same policy of asking first, and my permission post is still available). That will only get worse if her powers start fluctuating from not meeting the quota. Her eyes will still do their little magical brown-blue-green kaleidoscope trick, and her smile would still dazzle people... if she ever actually DOES smile, that is, with this new canon point.
In terms of personality Piper will actually come back QUIETER than she was when she left, withdrawn and more wary of others. While I wouldn't go as far as to say she'll be flat out cold she will be a little more antisocial and a little less responsive. Previous CR will have to be patient if they want to reestablish a good relationship with her, as she'll be coming in a little freshly jaded from being sent out of state to Wilderness school by her father. That means she'll be doing her damned best to keep a low profile, dressing like a tomboy, guarded, and not really very friendly. She'll try to avoid trouble in regards to the type of people she allows herself to be around but she'll probably get into trouble with her charmspeaking again like she did before she went to camp.
She'll technically be going back to being 15 years old, as well, since she would have been about 16 by the end of Mark of Athena. Her hair will have a choppier look to it in places where she'd cut it previously with safety scissors.
