	I. Be respectful to your other players This is the most important rule that we have. We want to make Rekindle a fun and comfortable game for everyone. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Harassment, coercion, and verbal attacks are not tolerated - for whatever reason. II. No powerplaying/infomodding/etc. For those of you who are unfamiliar, powerplaying is controlling the actions of another character without prior knowledge and consent of the other player. Infomodding is your character knowing things that - while they may be known to the player out of character - they should have no way of knowing ICly (such as "getting a feeling" that a villain your character just met is a bad guy despite the villain being nothing but friendly). Both of them are generally considered rude and unfair to other players and not allowed in-game. III. Contact the mods if you have a problem. Above all else, we're here to help; whether it's mediating a conflict, answering questions about something that might be confusing, or taking action when something unacceptable is happening. Please talk to us. All of our information is on the Mod Contact Page for easy access. IV. IC =//= OOC. Keep in-character conflicts in-character. Keep out of character conflicts out of character (and keep the OOC conflicts civil, as per rule #1). Also remember that just because a player plays a nasty big bad doesn't mean they're a nasty person. We're not our characters. We're just playing them. V. Maintain a certain amount of activity. Activity check is at the beginning of each month, and ends right before applications open. The current activity period lasts from the end of the last activity check to the end of the current one. In order to pass activity check, you need any one of the following: One post on the log comm (with at least 5 comments from you total). A thread on the log comm with 5 comments from your character in total. One post on the network comm (with 10 at least comments from you total). One comment thread on someone else's network post with at least 10 comments from your character in total. Commentspam, icon-only, and combo replies do not count (or in the case of the latter merely count as one comment altogether). At least one proof must come from entirely within the current activity check. Backtagging is allowed on the second proof of activity, though please don't abuse this privilege to barely scrape by or we may have to change it. VI. Hiatus. In rekindleme, we take the approach of real life > roleplay. If something comes up or players need to take a break, we allow for the time period of a month maximum for each hiatus. If more time is needed, please contact a moderator to discuss the situation. ICly, the duration can present itself in three ways: Option 1: Vanishing from the City. All of their possessions will remain in their rooms. When they return, they will be unaware of the time that has passed and will need to be filled in. Option 2: Comatose. Suddenly they fall unconscious and are taken to the hospital by concerned citizens and friends of the guest for observation and analysis. Characters who wake up may also need a little extra physical contact to make up for the lost time, but symptoms will not be as severe as they would have been if they were conscious and aware. Option 3: Autopilot. You may handwave any interactions you feel able to do so, though we don't advise it for longer hiatuses. When hiatusing, please tell us which of the three you are going to select for your character(s) as those still in the city are wont to ask the NPCs. VII. You must be 16+ to play. While Rekindle is not a sex game, given the nature of the game, it's very likely it will contain certain mature topics similar to one. If we find out you lied about your age in order to join, you will be banned from the game. VIII. Place content warnings and lock posts as appropriate. This applies to both mature themes and any excessive blood/gore. In addition, there should be no extreme kinks/dubcon/noncon. Again, Rekindle is not a sex game, and while sex is allowed, we'd like to keep the content itself a happy medium, as not everyone is going to be interested in or comfortable with it. IX. We allow fandom characters, OCs, AUs, and game transplants. Up to 2 versions of a character (one OU and one AU) are allowed. We consider game transplants as AU due to the character development in the game (or games) the character was in previously. At this time, we only allow Fandom OCs from tabletop games and MMOs. X. Absolutely no plagiarism. If we find your app contains any plagiarism at all, you will be banned from the game and subsequently barred from applying again. XI. We believe in three chances... Overall, we are a very forgiving yet strict group of individuals. We love to give players who may have had questionable pasts in previous games a chance to prove they've changed. However, we only give these chances three times. If the rules are broken by someone three times or more, then this is grounds for permanent banning from the game. XII. Again, ASK US if you have any problems or questions. We don't bite, honest, and we can't fix anything we aren't aware of. For more information (or if you have a question), please ask in the FAQ.

Hey, potential player here. While this doesn't apply to me, it does apply to a friend who is thinking of apping, so: What counts as an extreme kink?
