Thinking about running your own event? Well, you're in the right place! There's just a few things we'll need to know before we can give you the go-ahead. Please note - you only need to post here if your event is the sort that might have a lasting effect on a lot of other characters in the game or may impact the setting in some way. If there's a smaller group of you and you've all agreed to do something together or if you want to do something that's mostly just centered on one or two people, you don't need to get permission, just go ahead and do it! Alternatively, if you'd like some NPCing for your plot but it's not the type of thing that would affect others, you can request that here as well. However, since the bulk of the events here will be player-run, NPCing will generally be the exception and not the rule. If there's anything you need to bear in mind while running your event, we'll let you know about it when you're approved, and you're always free to ask us for feedback or input while the event is going on! Ready to go? Then just fill out the form below and comment here! We'll get back to you ASAP! Event run by: Your handle and the character(s) you'll have involved. Second: The person who will be picking up running the event (or helping you to run it) in the event that things get busy for you unexpectedly. Premise: What will your event involve? You don't have to give everything away, but the more specifics you give us, the more feedback we can give back to you in turn. Beginning on: The date you want your event to begin. If you don't have a specific date in mind, a general range is fine. Please note that you should make a request no later than a month and a half (6 weeks) before you want your event to start, so that we can find a good place to fit it in with mod events. The more time you give us, the better a time for it we can find! Duration: How long you want your event to last. Characters: Who will be involved in this event? If it's an event with open involvement, feel free to say so and post a signup in the OOC comm! NPCing: Do you need NPC involvement for your event? In most cases this will probably be a no; however, in the event that you do, NPC involvement will probably be constrained to the beginning or the end, as the events are player-run. Screened?: Would you like for us to leave your comment screened or is it okay to make it visible to everyone on this post? |

Second: Fox (Kiritsugu,
Premise: Kiritsugu can use magic to make familiars out of animals, so the plan is to find and catch some animals (anything from a domestic cat to rats, bats or even birds would do), make familiars out of them and try to send them into the Restricted Districts.
Preferably, they'd be going for something large-ish like a cat so they can strap a webcam on and try to get recordings even if the Withdrawal effect causes interference.
Beginning on: Trying to find animals begins effectively now, but the actual attempt to breach into the Restricted Districts can only start once they've gathered some, obviously.
Duration: A week or two catching animals, then releasing them as familiars. Assuming they can get into the Restricted Zone they'll be trying to send them as far as they can.
Characters: Kiritsugu and Asuka as above, and anyone else they get involved with catching/trapping animals / helping out with familiars and various other stuff (I'll do an OOC post shortly)
NPCing: Not sure, but we'd definitely need a mod involved since it involves the Restricted Districts. Plus we don't know how common animals are around here.
Screened?: Visible is fine.

However, animals - both strays and animals available to be kept as pets - will be available in the not-too-distant future! If you'd still be interested in running this plot once that happens, just let us know and we'll give you more information.
