	Applications are currently CLOSED. Applications will open on April 1st at 12:01 AM EST. Character applications must be posted in journals, and linked when submitted on this page. You may apply for a maximum of two characters per application round. Please include character name, canon, and reserved/unreserved status in the subject line of your comment. Applications decisions are given in the order applications are received. A request for revisions must be answered within three days from the time of the request for your revisions to be considered. If your application is rejected, you may apply again for the same character next application cycle unless otherwise noted, up to a maximum of three times. If your application for a character is rejected three times, you may not apply for that character again. To prevent a situation where some characters have been accepted and some characters are left waiting, all app results will go out together after the app round has closed, ideally within 48 hours. If it has been more than 3 days (72 hours) since the closing of the app round, feel free to contact us regarding the status of your application. You may wish to review the Rules, FAQ, and Taken Characters pages before applying. The Reservations page is located here. Unless otherwise noted, Reserves are open from the 9th to the end of each month, and Applications are open from the 1st to the 8th of each month. We would like to know your reasoning for Radiant Garden taking two years to fall rather than the one year stated in canon, since this affects Vexen directly. Also, a few things in the AU are brought up without context (Sora and Eraqus seemingly traveling together, the X-Blade) making it difficult to see the whole picture. The major differences should be outlined at the beginning of the AU section, especially since the AU doesn't center around Vexen himself.

Thank you for your interest in rekindleme. Unfortunately, we must reject your application as submitted at this time. Our reasons for doing so are as follows:

There are frequent grammar and punctuation issues throughout the app that show a lack of proofreading. Technical issues aside, we feel the world information given is incredibly sparse. The background organizations are given little to no elaboration or explanation for existence, much like the presence of superheroes. It is difficult to connect relevant events in the character's own history without guesswork because they don't seem to make sense (characters doing illogical things, superheroes knowing information they shouldn't, black mass suddenly appearing in a place it had no relation to beforehand). Also, his powers weren't even mentioned until the abilities section despite the role they ought to have in his history (re: being recruited by the superheroes).

In short, we find it hard to see how your character fits in his own world even with the information given. There are too many errors in this application to consider revisions.

You may apply again next application cycle, beginning October 8th, or apply for another character if you so choose. You may apply for the same character up to three times in total.
