"Something went wrong, and you are the only ones who can help. We can't fix it ourselves..."
Perhaps this is the first time you've heard a plea for help, or maybe you've heard it before whether it be your world or among the vastness of the multiverse. This cry is no exception.

Coming from the darkness, as what you know seems to be absorbed into nothing and all you can sense, all you can hear are voices in the distance. You can't see their owners, can't touch them, but as a soft light begins to touch your face, the voices become clear. They need your help. The reason is vague, shrouded in mystery, but the light is beckoning you to it.

Welcome to Saeng Seong, a city once known for being one of the main trade route and religious hubs now cut off from the rest of the world. Something went terribly wrong, though that that exactly is (the native population call it "power problems") remains elusive like smoke escaping your grasp. You'll have to work hard to find the answers you seek.

The city leaders and its native residents seem eager to offer assistance whenever they can, and any wish you ask for (within reason) is there beside you. They have done their best to make sure that everyone's stay is as comfortable as they can make it. However, they have made it clear: until you can help them in return, they can't send you home, barring certain extreme circumstances. They need you to help save them, after all. It's something only you can do.

But don't think you can fix Saeng Seong's problems alone. In fact, this is one adventure you simply can't complete by yourself, no matter how independent or how much of a loner you were up till now. Because in Saeng Seong, if you can't get in touch with people - actual touch - then you may find yourself destabilizing, withering away. It doesn't have to be much; you could probably get by on handshakes if you do it enough. But without keeping in contact with the other new arrivals, you won't make it far.

Where there is light, so too does darkness dwell. What is the truth, what is fiction, and what yet lingers in the world's forgotten past? Only you can discover these answers, but you can be certain of one thing at least: You will never be alone…
