Unfortunately, we can't accept mythological or religious characters if they're not from a fictionalized work. (Such as Percy Jackson or a Disney movie.) Our concern is that it can fast turn into a slippery slope when it comes to bringing in characters from real world belief systems. We're also currently updating the rules to make this more clear, in the future.
You may apply again next application cycle, beginning January 8th, with another character if you so choose.
